John Black – John’s responsibilities include business planning, product management, business development, vendor and partner selection and marketing. John has 10 years of highly relevant experience, including 7 years of product management experience in Internet advertising, direct marketing, market research and Web analytics. This includes experience in personalization from developing the market’s first product for 1:1 banner ad targeting at DoubleClick, and experience with predictive modeling, with management roles at Abacus, the leading direct marketing solutions provider for the catalog industry. John has a bachelor’s degree in business from Michigan and an MBA from the University of Denver.

Edwin Ong - Edwin is the co-founder of Castpost, a web-based broadcasting service that has delivered personal video and audio clips to millions of users. Prior to starting Castpost, Edwin co-founded and served as CEO of FileFish Inc., a VC-backed enterprise software company that was acquired by Oracle in 2003. Edwin holds a BS with honors in Computer Science from Stanford.
Eric Kirby - Eric Kirby was formerly General Manager of Email Solutions at DoubleClick, a leading online marketing services company. Prior to DoubleClick, Eric co-founded and ran Veripost, an email marketing tools provider which merged with Return Path in 2001. Eric also co-founded and successfully sold Assurance Systems. Eric holds a BS in Engineering from Northwestern and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Joseph Konstan - Joseph A. Konstan is Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota, where he specializes in Human-Computer Interaction and co-directs the GroupLens Research Project on Recommender Systems. He is co-author of Word of Mouse: The Marketing Power of Collaborative Filtering, and a co-founder of Net Perceptions, Inc., a company founded in 1996 to commercialize recommender systems. Since then, he has also served as a consultant or advisor to several small and growing companies. Dr. Konstan received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and his A.B. from Harvard University, all in Computer Science.
